Dr. Annemarie Witmer, MSN, MSHA, DNP, CRNP, is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner, specializing in Family Practice. She is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing from East Tennessee State University, a Doctorate in Nursing from The University of Alabama, and a Post-Doctorate Masters in Health Administration from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has been in practice since 1998. In her spare time she enjoys playing with her grandchildren, gardening, swimming, reading, and visiting state parks and wildlife refuges.
Practice Philosophy: Dr. Witmer is committed to providing individualized, compassionate, quality health care in partnership with patients to maximize their quality of life. She believes in treating patients as she would want her family treated.
Dr. Witmer is excited to be a part of the Huntsville Family Health Center’s Primary Care Medical Home and serves as our Clinical Services Officer.
